A Comparison in Work-Up Between the First and Second Covid 19 Infection in the Same Patients in the ED Tawam Hospital, UAE

Aim of study: To identify the significance routine laboratory investigations conducted in patients infected with COVID-19 for second time as compared to being first UAE. Methods: 345 between ages 16 and 65 years who were included study. Patient’s charts reviewed all tests imaging reviewed. Furthermore, divided into two groups: one a infection group other group. Results: Fifteen have been conducted. Of these tests, 44.4% (4 tests) (procalcitonin, phosphate, magnesium, amylase, lipase) that abnormally elevated found be significantly reduced infection. Also, modalities done which Chest–X ray CT thorax without contrast abnormal Conclusion recommendations: We recommend not using following labs time: procalcitonin, lipase, phosphate. However, we do performing Chest X-ray assessing severity disease time.
